Cookie Policy

How AI Watermarks uses browser storage, analytics, and advertising technologies.

2026/07/14

Introduction

This policy explains how AI Watermarks and our service providers use cookies and similar browser technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

AI Watermarks is an independently operated personal website based in the United States and is available to users worldwide. The public contact point is support@ai-watermarks.com.

Image Processing Stays Local

Selecting an image or logo in a watermark tool does not upload that file to our servers. Image decoding, watermark rendering, preview, and export run locally in your browser.

Cookies and analytics events are not used to store the selected image, logo, watermark text, output file, or filename.

Technologies We Use

Functional Storage

The site may use cookies or local storage to remember settings such as language and appearance. These settings support the website but do not contain your image files.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and improve the tools. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish users and sessions. It may process information including page visits, approximate location, browser, and device information.

Our watermark events are designed to use only coarse categories such as tool name, input format, file-count bucket, duration bucket, and outcome. We do not intentionally send image contents, logos, watermark text, filenames, or downloaded files to analytics.

Other Analytics Providers

Depending on the production configuration, the site may also load Ahrefs Web Analytics, DataFast, OpenPanel, Plausible, Seline, and Umami. These providers may receive page and referrer URLs, request or device information, approximate location, page views, link interactions, and similar usage data. Their use of cookies, identifiers, and retention periods depends on each provider and our configuration.

Google AdSense

The website is configured to support Google AdSense, but advertisements are not currently being served. If ad serving is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, limit repeated ads, detect fraud and invalid traffic, and personalize ads where permitted by your choices and applicable law.

AI Watermarks does not currently provide a separate site-owned cookie preference panel. If ad serving is enabled, a provider-hosted consent message may be configured where required. Google requires publishers serving personalized ads in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

You can use any consent message that is displayed, Google advertising controls, and your browser settings to manage or delete cookies. Blocking some storage may reduce measurement accuracy or ad personalization. The core watermark tools are designed to process images in the browser without analytics or advertising cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our tools, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision.
